Here the police, who were checking the vehicle on shock, issued a challan of Rs 1000 on a car owner. That too because the car owner was not wearing a helmet while driving the car. You may also be shocked to hear this, but this is true. It got so bad that on the day the police fined the car, the car had not even left the house. When the message of fine came on Kar Malik’s mobile in the afternoon, he was surprised. After this, the victim car owner met officials from the transport department to the traffic police several times and complained. On this the officials said that this happened by mistake, it will be rectified soon. But even after four months, improvements have not been made, due to which the car owner is upset.

Murari Krishna alias Bittu, son of Ravi Shankar Nath Tiwari, resident of Bhojpurwa of Manjha police station area, has kept a Swift Dezire car, whose number is BR 28Y 9224. On April 1, 2024, at 12:00 noon, a message regarding deduction of a challan came on his mobile. He was shocked as soon as he saw the message, because at that time his car was parked at home. When I checked the complete details of the message, I saw that the number of his car was there in the challan, but the photo in it was of a bike. The number is also visible on the front plate of that bike. The number of that bike was BR 28Y 9242. This fine was imposed by the police during vehicle checking near Manikpur Kaparpura turn on Gopalganj-Siwan road.

Complaint to transport department
The victim car owners Murari Krishna and Bittu tell Local 18 that as soon as the message of the challan came on their mobile, they met the ADTO and explained the problem. He said that the matter is of traffic police. This matter will be resolved by contacting them. After this, the victim car owner also met traffic police officers repeatedly. The officials were told not to submit the challan. This will be rectified soon. But even after six months there was no improvement.

Pollution certificate not being made due to not paying challan
The victim, Murari Krishna alias Bittu, told Local 18 that he was not paying the challan even after being asked by the traffic police officers. But now they have to suffer the consequences of not paying the challan. The pollution certificate of the vehicle has expired and is not being renewed. On going there it is being said that the challan is outstanding on the vehicle.
